Skater Dude

Cole is not showing any signs of out growing his love for skateboarding. If anything, the obsession is only growing. So to make us both happy, I have been letting him skate as long as he lets me practice with my camera. It's about the only time he doesn't mind the camera! These were taken with my new 85mm f/1.8 lens. Love it so far!

The Lott Family

Not sure how I got blue underlined text but I do so bear with me! I'm way behind on updating, I went a couple weeks ago down to Huntington Beach pier to photograph my friend Jenni's family. What a gorgeous bunch they are! Jalen is 6 and just recently lost his two front teeth. Jada is 2 and has the most gorgeous blue eyes ever!

The Schoppman Family

Sunday I got to shoot Kimmie's family at the GORGEOUS Laguna Niguel Regional Park. Seriously, isn't it beautiful? And the subjects weren't too shabby either! Beautiful place and beautiful people make my job easier!

They love each other. SO cute!

Handsome

I want to make my own Christmas cards this year. Actually, just sending out cards would be an improvement over last year but a card and photo of the kids would be amazing! So I took the younger boys in their Christmas outfits for a little photo session and I got some great shots... of Luke. Luke should be a model. He's so good at it. Cole, on the other hand, insisted on bringing his skateboard and wouldn't let go of it. So my goal of getting pictures of the boys together has two major obstacles. #1: Getting Cole to put down the board and look at the camera at the same time as his brothers and #2: Getting Bradley to get a haircut before i take their pictures. I'm not sure which obstacle will be the bigger challenge!

The closest I could get to them being in a decent photo together.

Alfred and Rita's Wedding

Yesterday my sister took me under her wing and introduced me to the world of wedding photography. Lucky me, I had a beautiful location and beautiful people to make my job easier! It was a long day but a lot of fun!

Cheers after a toast by the brother of the bride.
The first dance. Great salsa dancers!

BFFs!

Today Cole and his best buddy Sadie had a playdate at the park. They really are BFFs, even though they kind of do their own thing the whole time!
Getting braver and trying to stand on it!

We're going to miss Sadie when she moves to Florida!

Feeding the Ducks

I took Cole to the lake to feed the ducks today because he's been asking to see the ducks just about every time we drive by the lake. This kid loves ducks. Almost as much as he loves dogs and skateboards. I didn't bring a lot of bread because you're really not supposed to feed them but these ducks expect it!
He always takes the time to stop and smell the roses!

Dear Cole

Baby boy,

I know you think you are invincible and I know you love adventure, jumping, skateboarding and anything that will give me grey hair and quite possible a heart atack, but really, you need to calm down! Today you thought it would be fun to skateboard off a curb. After successfully making it you decided to try it again but this time you landed on your nose and experienced your first nose bleed. I have a feeling there will be many more and probably some broken bones in our future. I love ya but you are a crazy child!!!

Taylor and Warner

Last week I spent the morning with my friend Kimmie and her two cuties. Taylor is a totally silly girly-girl and Warner is all boy! Taylor was born to be photographed and Warner was about as into it as any almost-two-year old! Kimmie is so good at dressing her kids, Taylor's outfit was perfect, from the hand-made bow to the zebra pattern shoes! We had a lot of fun hanging out at the pumpkin patch!

Don't be fooled by the innocent face. He was growling at me a few minutes later! Such a handsome boy!

Isn't she fashionable?!

What a great smile!

Baby Olivia

I got to spend a few hours on Halloween with my friend Leslie and her one-week-old daughter Olivia. Leslie and I have been friends since Jr. High so I am pretty excited to get to be a mom with her now too! Isn't she precious?
